Elaina has Arrived!

The joy of seeing one of my dearest friends with her live baby doll has been inexpressible. All of those dorm room chats about parenting and taking care of our babies has finally become reality. Elaina Katherine is truly a doll baby. She is absolutely beautiful! I was so blessed to get to photograph her cute expressions and moments with her mommy.  I even included a shot of her crocodile tears as she was trying to explain to us that lunch comes before her modeling career!  Mommy got the hint and 2 bottles later she was one happy baby again! A Child is Born, A Son is Given

Sweet Sisters

What a precious family this was! Okay, I know I say that about every family it seems like, but seriously, take a look at these little girls! They are beautiful!  The eldest one, Lizzie, does not like the flash on the camera so it was a little challenging, but she won my heart as she kept looking at me saying, “No flash, no flash”… however, I did sneak a few flashes in there!  Enjoy these sweet baby dolls.

Christmas Time is Here

Who knew the mall could be such a fun photo spot! We had planned for an outdoor setting, but with 17 degrees reading on the thermometer, this wise mother opted for the mall. That way we could snap a few shots and she could move on with shopping. I like the way she thinks! Isn’t her family beautiful?  She and her husband made it fun and easy and her boys were so handsome in their Christmas vests! The oldest one just ate up the camera and came up with great poses before I did!  What fun we had!

Madeline

Madeline and her beautiful mommy are a precious pair. She hadn’t been feeling too well so pictures were not her favorite part of the day, but thankfully a kind lady showed her a music box and Madeline was filled with wonder!  Can’t you just feel the love between this mother and daughter?

Daddy with His Boys

This father is doubly blessed with twin 5 year old boys! Aren’t they handsome? They were so well mannered, sweet hearted and I just about asked if I could borrow them for a while….ok forever. Ethan and Austin stole my heart.

Snowman for You

Last weekend was a busy weekend with family photos! I loved every minute of it!  My mom was my lovely assistant with this family and she was a huge help and blessing! This sweet family is from the South and they haven’t played in the snow very often. As we were posing and taking snapshots outside I turned around and there in the middle of campus stood a snowman full of personality! He was brilliant.  Enjoy these pics! Between the cold, candy canes and snowman I hope you truly embrace the crisp morning air, hear the children giggle and then shiver and see the love in these parent’s eyes!

Shaker Village
